CS Nation's Site Director has revealed this sad fact regarding the PC version of Modern Warfare 2 (also on Xbox 360, PS3): Unless you are the host, your Ping sucks, basically.

If you're feeling strapped for cash this past couple of weeks, particularly because of your latest purchases, Uncharted 2 and Modern Warfare 2, too bad, cos there's another hot "2" title that you shouldn't miss. Could there be a DLC coming our way this holidays for the futuristic shooter, Section 8 (PC, Xbox 360, PS3)? That's the vibe we're getting, based on Southpeak Interactive's Q1 earnings call yesterday.

The Russians are angry. Apparently, they did not like how the controversial airport massacre level in Activision's blockbuster game was named the "No Russian" mission. To express their anger, they have ordered the recall of all the console versions of Modern Warfare 2 (Xbox 360, PS3, and PC) from their store shelves.

Finally, we have the PC requirements for Colin McRae: DiRT 2. It's been a while since the PS3 and Xbox 360 counterparts were released, so it's about time they veer their attention to the good ol' PC platform.

The Las Vegas Convention Center website has confirmed the dates for the BlizzCon 2010. It still won't be till next year, but it's never too early to prepare and set your calendars, right?

If Activision's internal estimates are to be believed, then the much-hyped, much-anticipated launch of Modern Warfare 2 for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC was successful as it was planned out to be, selling five million copies on its first day in North America and the UK combined.

Although Blizzard has always been one to decline from giving out any release projections unless they're damn sure they'll meet it, StarCraft II's 2010 launch seems to be firmly set in stone. Not so for Diablo III, which was most recently given one hell of a wide release window.

Followers of the Command & Conquer series' long-running story will finally get some closure next year. Electronic Arts has announced that Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight will bring the series to a close come March 2010.
