It's been reaping the accolades from among the industry critics, and the numbers aren't lying either. Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) has reportedly shipped out an astonishing number of over 2.5 million units to retail since it launched some three weeks ago.

Of course, Eidos Interactive is proud of their game. Phil Rogers, CEO, beams with pride as he describes it as "one of the stand-out games this year." He said, "I've been following the great reviews and consumer blogs and I'm delighted that gamers everywhere love playing this game as much as we do." And indeed, it has been said to have brought the hero back in the superhero genre.

So far, Batman: Arkham Asylum has been getting recognition from various reviews and critics, earning the titles of "Game of the Month", and "Editor's Choice" awards, among many others. And we think there's gonna be more to come for this game.

Kudos, therefore, to the brilliant team behind the development of Arkham Asylum, London-based Rocksteady Studios.

This game is very impressive, I love the style put into it. Both in gameplay and design. My only issue was no Newgame+ mode, but none the less a really awesome game!
