BioShock - Image 1Disgruntled PC gamers who are having problems with installing BioShock (PC, Xbox 360) on their PCs, due to running out of activation credits, can now heave a big sigh of relief as the official 2K Games forums now have an indispensable tool available to fix the problem: the activation revoke tool.

So what does the revoke tool actually do? It de-activates the BioShock license currently installed on the computer to free it for later use. In other words, if you want to install BioShock on a computer that just suffered a disk crash but already used up all your activation licenses, using the revoke tool will free up one of your activation licenses so you can re-install it again without any problems.

There will be some limitations to this tool: the revoke tool will work only once per computer, and you need to have direct access to the computer whose license needs to be deactivated.

Now those who had problems with running BioShock after upgrading their machines can finally play the game again (yes, we're looking at you Ceasar S.).

Download the tool and read the entire FAQ sheet on the Read link!
