Yoshinori Ono - Image 1It's become a classic he said-he said. Pitted against each other are the movie prod's claim that the Street Fighter movie will be coming out on March 2009 in a simultaneous launch with the SFIV (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC) games. Ono-san, however, says he does not know of any simultaneous release. Confused much? Yeah, we are too. Good thing he also talks about parrying and a lot of other things.

The Beatles for Rock Band, Guitar Hero possible - Image 1 Speaking words of wisdom: let it be, let it be. Well, we do hope it will be - because if recent news holds out, we just might get a Beatles release for Rock Band or Guitar Hero (maybe for both games, if Lucy's diamonds shine down on us just right) - just like how Aerosmith got their own version for Guitar Hero. Back in March, ATV Music (in partnership with Sony) already expressed interest in bringing the Fab Four's music to GH. Recent accounts, however, report that a deal may finally be settled in the coming weeks.

Guitar Hero IV to include a lot of other instruments - Image 1Less doesn't always mean more. As fun as jamming on Guitar Hero 3 is, some would prefer to rock with their friends as a whole band - enter Rock Band. In the next iteration of the Guitar Hero franchise, we'll probably see just as many instruments as Rock Band has, according to Activision's CEO. Details in the full article.

Activision logo - Image 1After hearing about how well Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock (Xbox 360, Wii, PS2, PS3, PC) sold in the recent holidays, it seems like a no-brainer to say that Activision will have an easy time raking in the dough in the coming months. Not really, says Wedbush Morgan's gaming industry analyst, Michael Pachter. Of course, it's not going to be an easy win since there's Harmonix's Rock Band (Xbox 360, PS3, PS2) to contend with. Read more about it in the full article!
