Listen up, Specops. Those who are duking it out in the Beta may already know the basics to Crysis' new Power Struggle mode, but for those of us out of the loop, Crytek and Electronic Arts offer us a four minute briefing. The multiplayer mode has been revealed in scant details before, so this next video should paint a clearer picture of what it actually offers.

Reminds you of Savage: Battle for Newerth, doesn't it? Just without the building part, of course. Strategy, economics, team coordination, and exploitation of your team's capabilities are just some of the factors that you'll need in your bid for domination. And without a vigilant commander and ample team communication, you could be watching your HQ go bye-bye. Pronto.

Prestige points are probably the main currency here, with asset operational status being factored in if you have ample power supplied and enough security detail. There's also enough room for a slugfest with 32-player support, and if you've got the cash to blow on a LAN party, you can get all your pimped up PC pals on one rowdy session, relatively lag-free.
