One look at the latest Turok (Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, PC) game and you'll have to wonder how much work has been put into designing its rich environments inhabited by both creepy soldiers and dinosaurs. In the latest Awakening the Giants video, Propaganda Games revealed how level design was approached and featured some of the voices behind Turok's characters.

According to Propaganda folks, one of the major factors in crafting the environment is the story point where the player is at. Making sure levels don't get stale or linear is another thing, because gamers want various routes and places to explore.

Ron Perlman, Donnie Wahlberg, and Gregory Norman Cruz are just among the few who made it to Turok's line-up of voice actors. If you want to see them passionately portraying their characters and watch the entire part four of Propaganda Games' series of "the making" videos, the embed is waiting below.

 » Meh

I was kinda excited about Turok when I heard they were making a new one. I remember playing the multiplayer with my friends and having a huge blast back on the N64.

Then I played the demo that came out a little while ago. I'm bummed; it was crap.
