Borderlands - Image 1

In the latest statements coming from Take-Two Interactive, it was mentioned that upcoming sci-fi FPS offering Borderlands(PS3, Xbox 360, PC) from developer Gearbox will be delayed. The launch was moved from the 2008 window to fiscal 2009.

Take-Two reasons that the delay is intended to give Gearbox additional time to develop the game. The move of Borderlands' launch schedule, the company adds, should also provide a better balance for the release lineup of its AAA titles.

Borderlands is a shooter with RPG elements. It tells the tale of humanity's exodus into planet Pandora in the edge of the galaxy. Mankind sees a new home with vast resources in the alien world, unaware that threats lurk from within. Check back with us for more updates on it.

Just great. What is this, a new trend? "Hey, lets just delay every game in existence for no reason!"
