Call of Duty 4: Marketplace back to normal, PS3 now in focus, PC version on the rise - Image 1We definitely have good news to those who own Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PC, PS3, Xbox 360). Robert Bowling just updated his personal blog regarding the specific developments for the different platform versions.

In his last post, Bowling said that the Xbox Live Marketplace should be back up and running perfectly now. So for those who have been experiencing difficulties downloading the recently released map packs, you might want to try getting them now.

Furthermore, Bowling added that they're now prepping up the things for the launch of the new maps for the PS3 through the PlayStation Network. They're actually fixing up a launch weekend for the players when the maps hit the Sony's online service. Also,
the devs might be able to come up with a specific date for the release of the Game Of The Year Edition anytime soon.

As for the PC version, Bowling said that the Patch is now official in queue so that i can finish internal QA for its release. In addition to this, the Community Mapping Content has just been finished. They will be putting up a notice for the submission of user-created maps for the game.  Just like with the PS3, Bowling's working on bringing the variety map packs for PC users as well.

Well, that was a hefty update. Hope it was able to make your day. We'll keep you guys notified for more of the latest updates happening with the game. Do stick around our site for that.

Sony had better hurry up with this inconvenient revamp of the Network. I want these maps very badly, Chinatown looks especially awesome.

They said a long time ago that they were releasing the ps3 map pack 21 days (i think) after the 360 maps.

somthings.. I was playing online with my bro and most of the time we can't connect to each others partys. If he's in a friends party and I get invited once I join he gets dissconnected from the party.

But yea I'm looking foward to chinatown (looks like its going to me my favorite map).

I'll wait until they focus on patching rumble in then I'll worry about the new maps.
