Robert Bowling Blog: COD4 DLC in certification, info on 360, PS3, PC Map Packs - Image 1We got the latest news saying that the Map Packs for Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PC, PS3, Xbox 360) are in the process of certification at Microsoft already.

These will include four new maps, namely
Creek, Broadcast, Killhouse, and Chinatown. The details were found at Robert Bowling's personal blog.

For the DLC, there will be minor fixes regarding the Clan Tags. The update will be re-allowing the use of special characters in the tags but will still prevent the exploit wherein images are used, like the Left Thumbstick and button images.

The 360 build of the game will be getting the Map Packs from Xbox Live during the first week of April. PS3 owners, on the other hand, will also be getting the same on PlayStation Network but on a much later date.

Bowling said that despite the difference in release dates, the prices of maps for both download service should be the same. As for the PC version, Bowling added that they're currently working on the logistics to bring the same content in the future.

This is certainly a reason for you guys to jump for joy! Well, keep your eyes glued to this space for more updates and news on the game.
