Ó

We had the screenshot/real-life side-by-sider of Crytek's Crysis long before, so there was a chance to see then just how eye-bleeding the Crysis graphics are. Now, we have another chance, courtesy of bee from the NeoGAF forums. And it's a rather sneaky, dark-alley kind of chance.

These two real-time Crysis videos came from a crysis-online.com user, who himself claims to have received them from an "inside man" in the games media industry. (And if you're wondering, the link to the crysis-online.com user "has been suspended.")

These clips feature Crysis running off DX10 and an nVidia GeForce 8800 card, claims the original source. It also seems that whoever the "inside man" is, he wasn't supposed to talk about either DX10 or the G80 card. Probably why the crysis-online.com account was suspended? Uh-oh.

The YouTube clip below, uploaded by FlintyV (dunno if that's the same guy as NeoGAF's bee, or the original source) is thirty seconds of the first video, a fly-through of the Crysis island setting. That's thirty seconds of a minute-and-a-half long reel, so it's only a teaser to what you're going to download. And the second one's gameplay vid. Both of them are not direct feed, by the way. So watch, download, be the judge. Are your eyeballs bleeding yet?

Direct feed would be nice to see. I have seen screens, and can imagine how it would look on dx10.

links work too, btw. click the orange download button about halfway down near the right side.

Yeh it's nice .. but it's not worth upgrading for... DX10 is still in infancy - wont be a few years till they nail it...

And hoenstly, it's nothing a Console cant handle...

they claim that a console can't handle it... so seems you need to rethink that statement

 » console cant handle??

lets just wait and see if the 3 core xbox 360 with its dx9 video core stacks up to a quad core 2 duo with any dx 10 card... even with the 360's dedicated hardware its still going to be hard to see what will end up on the top....

People know how to make pc games...

i think they are still trying to figure out how to make games for the 360... So for now the hardware performance from either side is still up in the air...
