Direct2Drive to distribute THQ PC titles - Image 1

Digital video game delivery just keeps getting more and more popular. Here's an example. Just recently, Direct2Drive announced that it has inked a deal with video game publisher THQ to digitally distribute a number of the latter's PC game titles.

"Our customers are passionate about great games and blockbusters like Supreme Commander, the award-winning Company of Heroes, and the full Dawn of War series are exciting additions to our unparalleled library of AAA games available for download," said Jamie Berger, senior vice president of consumer products for IGN Entertainment.

With this deal, THQ joins the list of publishers - which includes 2K Games, Activision and Ubisoft, among others - who have previously partnered with Direct2Drive to bring their titles to consumers via digital download.
