So not one month after the 1.1 client update came out, id Software has released the 1.2 Update for Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. Along with the update release is also comes an update for some server files.

Due to the size of the updated server files, it's no longer updated via a server update. Rather, players should download a full installer available at ETQW's site. The 1.2 Update can be downloaded via the in-game updater or you can, like the server file updates, download the update from the ETQW site.

The 1.2 Update notes are also out, and can be viewed in the same page as the downloads. There are some pretty big changes, including a voice over IP addition so be sure to take a peek.
