TrackMania United, the fourth installment for the Track Mania franchise, will be fusing elements from its three predecessors to give you an all new dimension to racing, its creation, and sharing. This dimension, they say, is its Existential dimension. Whoa. That's deep. For a racing game, yeah, that sure sticks out like a sore thumb.
But barring that philosophical jargon, what you can expect from this game (and we'll make sure it's in layman's terms) are the new functionalities, like the management of solo scores, the potential of combining different environments in one game, and highly technological graphics that will suit whatever kind of computer you may have.
New features include the MediaTracker, which allows you to tweak into the artistic presentation portion of your races, such as creating your own introductions, cinematic sequences, and replays. You can also integrate music, photos, as well as videos to zap it up. As for your cars, what's a racing game if you'd only be limited to one? That's why here, you have the option of replacing your automobile with whatever else you may fancy. You can also customize the paint via the Painter.
Oh, as for that Existential bit, we think we've got it. The action of the game will be dependent on you playing it. Therefore, as the game gets played by the gamer, it thus fulfills its 'game-ness'... Still off, eh? Oh well. It was worth a shot.
