Bethesda Softworks is still under serious flak for serving what the most loyal of Fallout fans might call "the unbecoming of a legendary franchise," and probably having seen what happened to the once-God of multiplayer arena franchises, Unreal Tournament, with UT3, they're aren't backing down from their continuous anti-Fallout 3 campaign. Lately someone got hold of Bethesda to check if they're feeling the burn, and Emil Pagliarulo gave his stand.

It seems like we have good news for fans eagerly awaiting the release of the highly anticipated sequel to the Fallout series. This really isn't anything new for Bethesda. After fans staged a significant falling out over The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, you'd think Bethesda Game Studios would soften up and be more considerate. Unfortunately, that's not the case. Now carrying Fallout 3 (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC), the studio hopes to reincarnate the Fallout series as an FPS and not as its original RPG, paying no mind to the outcries of fans who contributed to the first two titles' success.
