Forty thousand is indeed the magic number as the event - dubbed the Warhammer 40K: Dawn Of War: Soulstorm 1v1 US$ 40,000 Tournament - involves more than just the US$ 40,000 overall cash prize. At stake are the following prizes for the top player:

  • a Dell XPS M1530 gaming PC
  • a limited edition, hand-numbered Dawn of War: Soulstorm art

  • Creative Labs Zen 8GB MP# media player
  • Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-FI XtremeGamer sound card
  • Creative Labs Inspire T6100 speakers
  • Creative Labs Fatal1ty Gaming Headset
  • a THQ Game
Each finalist will go home with a THQ game, plus their share of PC gaming hardware from Creative.

GGL Global Gaming's Warhammer 40K: Dawn Of War: Soulstorm 1v1 US$ 40,000 Tournament will last until April 13, 2008. As the event involves a ladder format, feel free to join in any time for a chance to win the prizes mentioned above. Registration will also last until April 13, 8:59 p.m. EST.
