 It's open to the public now! Valve officially announced the availability of Left 4 Dead 2 (Xbox 360, PC) to all PC and XBL Gold gamers via a press release earlier today.In the demo, you'll get a chance to get your hands on the new "The Parish" campaign. This one's set in the French Quarters in New Orleans, and will accommodate up to four players over local or Internet connections. Getting to try out the new boss infected zombies as well as many of the new melee weapons in the demo just might change your mind as well, in case you joined in on the boycott. Left 4 Dead 2 is coming to the PC and Xbox 360 on November 17th, 2009. Enjoy the demo! Related Articles: |

Although the demo is amazing, I'm still not convinced that the $60 is worth it, especially when just buying the first one right before announcing this.
In the same boat as Super Street Fighter IV for me, maybe it couldn't be DLC but it doesn't warrant a full priced game.

L4D is a great game and I like all the new weapons and characters in this 2nd one, but it's not worth $60. The first one really wasn't either, just too short. I'll pick this up when it hits $30 or $40

Not sure if they changed the demo since it went public, but it is only two (short) stages. But it is certainly good. Lots of new weapons. Which bets the question, why this wasn't included in the first l4d since it was specificly promsed to the community by gabe what's his name?

this game is sooo overrated, its only mildly enjoyable with a few friends, otherwise i'd rather WATCH a good zombie movie than have them in my face all the time.. bleh.
