In a press release from Rockstar Games, it has been announced that the said company has created a new development studio in the form of Mad Doc Software">Rockstar New England. This was achieved through the acquisition of Mad Doc Software.

Mad Doc Software was the team responsible for the Xbox 360 version of Bully: Scholarship Edition. According to the press release, they are particularly focused "on artificial intelligence and networking."

Founder of Rockstar Games, Sam Houser, had this to say about the acquisition:

Bringing them (Mad Doc Software) within the Rockstar Games family will enhance our core technology and further support our commitment to creating progressive and innovative gaming experiences.
