Mass Effect - Image 1A recent press release from BioWare revealed that Mass Effect for the PC (also available on the Xbox 360) will be getting the game's first downloadable content called Bring Down the Sky for free.

The downloadable content adds a new world for players to explore, complete with a hostile alien race known as the Batarians. It is said to offer around 90 minutes of new gameplay and even an original soundtrack to boot.

If you plan on downloading Bring Down the Sky, it will be available when the game launches on May 28 in North America and June 6 in Europe. Be advised that you will have to be a registered BioWare community member to download the new content.
