MySims is coming to the PC, Electronic Arts announces, and this updated port of the Nintendo Wii and DS simulation game tows along new characters and all-new online modes for the PC. We're guessing that this ties in deeply with the spirit of EA Maxis' Spore, which is also geared for online cooperation and interaction. EA says that towns you create, including the buildings and objects, can be shared with seven other people online (that makes for an 8-player multiplayer game), and you could cooperatively grow a town from nothingness to awesomeness. Or socialite central, whichever you prefer. We're guessing that the online interactivity will be revolving around EA's new EA Online service - the very service that Spore (and perhaps Battlefield Heroes - soon) is currently using as well. While new characters will be added, players are free to create their own from scratch, and online sessions can range from building towns hand-in-hand to mini-games like Tag and Hide-and-Seek. Single-player is also included, and you won't be forced to go online. Apparently, MySims will allow you to share your towns created during your solo hours online. EA says that the the PC version of MySims will be available this October, which is a month after Spore releases and should be the same time that Crysis Warhead hits shelves. EA also released 14 screenshots of the MySims PC port, which we've posted below. Enjoy. Related articles:
