Valve Corporation Steam - Image 1Attention, Steam users: The Steam client is now beefed up with the latest update, filled with added features and bug fixes. If you're plagued with spam or hate messages sent by another Steam subscriber, then you can rest easy now that Valve released a Message Block option.

Check out the list of changes included with this update:
  • Added the ability to block all communications from another user
  • Added an option to timestamp friends messages
  • Added an option to configure taskbar window flashing behavior on friends messages
  • Added background detection of game updates while Steam is running
  • Fixed backups failing for certain games, and made other improvements to it

Updating your client is simple, just select the "File" menu and choose "Check for Steam Client Updates", then let your client take care of the rest. Now, where's the next game updates?
