Fable 2 artwork - Image 1One thing that can really grate on a gamer's patience is that of an unannounced release date for a highly-anticipated game. Fortunately for gamers in the United Kingdom, Play.com has spilled the beans regarding the release dates for games of various platforms.

Apparently, Play.com gave away booklets at the Wembley Arena last weekend. Besides promising 5% off on the games in question, the booklet also indicated when the games would be released in the UK.

Here is a listing of the specific UK release dates for the following titles, according to Play.com:
  • Fable 2 (Xbox 360, PC) by Lionhead Studios - May 30
  • Ghostbusters: The Video Game (PC, PS3, Xbox 360, DS) by Sierra Entertainment - September 26
  • Prototype (PC, PS3, Xbox 360) by Radical Entertainment - June 27
  • Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy (PS3, Xbox 360) by Sierra Entertainment - June 27
  • Ninja Gaiden 2 (Xbox 360) by Team Ninja - March 28
  • Iron Man (PC, PS3, PSP, Xbox 360, Wii) by Sega - May 30
  • WALL-E (PC, PS3, PSP, Wii, DS, Xbox 360) - May 4
  • Lego Batman: The Video Game (PC, PS3, PSP, Xbox 360, Wii, DS) by Warner Bros. Interactive - "sometime in September"
Before you jump for joy, a caveat: things may change between now and the projected dates mentioned above, so do not take the list as the end all and be all of information. Also, if you do not see a game listed for a particular platform above, it doesn't mean that that game won't be coming out for that platform.
