That first-ever screenshot showing Stay Puft must have gotten your blood rushing. If you're absolutely dying (oh, the Ghostbusters quartet sure know a lot about dying) to make sure you get your hands on copy of Ghostbusters: The Video Game once it hits shelves next year, then better grab that credit card.

Gamestop is already offering pre-orders for Sierra's upcoming game - for all of its platform versions (choose your poison: PS3, PS2, PC, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, DS).

On top of that, you get to save a couple of bucks too: if you do place a pre-order for the game, they'll be offering free overnight shipping for the US!

Just to get your bearings, GameStop clocks a pre-release ship date for Ghostbusters: The Video Game on October 7, 2008. This is still tentative, as neither Sierra, Terminal Reality, nor Red Fly Studio have given specific release dates.
