The early birds do get the freebies after all. Ubisoft announced today that those who pre-ordered the Prince of Persia game in North America will be receiving a free upgraded Limited Edition version of the game. More details after the jump

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for their upcoming Prince of Persia title for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC platforms. Aside from cell shading, this video will also feature some of the moves Elika will bring to the game's combat. You can view it over in the full article.

Remember the Ubidays 2008 trailer for Prince of Persia (DS, PlayStation 3, Windows, Xbox 360)? If you didn't already know, Elika is the lithe and equally acrobatic sidekick who gave our hero, the so-called Wanderer, the lethal boost to bring down the big baddie midway into the short flick. Ubisoft has recently revealed when its freshest "Prince" will be arriving on the PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and DS. Set to be released by the third quarter of the company's fiscal year, the new Prince of Persia title will feature cel-shaded graphics unique to the series and a story not unlike Okami's "heal the world" theme.
