Red Alert 3 to storm PCs on multiplayer beta - soon - Image 1

An announcement from none other than community manager Apoc himself has identified the impending start of the Beta program for Command & Conquer Red Alert 3's multiplayer. The words "to launch publicly very soon" isn't definite, but you might say that it could be next week, when the tide is prime for some serious real-time strategy testing.

Why the new proceedings in Command & Conquer, you ask? Well, you could say it all started when harsh words were parted with during Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars' outage over Electronic Arts' online gaming contests. Many complained that the balance of forces was just way off, and even subsequent patches didn't alleviate the anger of strategists.

Couple that with the fact that the alliances in Red Alert 3 are like fruits in a vegetable basket, and you've got yourself a wee bit problem to sort out. It'll be up to the fan base to suggest improvements for the game and report game-breaking issues as they encounter them.

The place to make the inquiries and suggestions would be at the newly inaugurated Beta Test forums. Get the instructions straight from the Support Forums at EA, which we've linked to below.
