Jill, RE5 - Image 1The upcoming Resident Evil: Afterlife sees the return of the cast from the last movie, welcoming Wentworth Miller to play Chris Redfield. Wouldn't be much of a Chris appearance if his ol' partner Jill isn't gonna be there for the ride, yes?

A Tweet from none other than Milla Jovovich tells us that it's quite possible. Despite being a no-show in Extinction, Sienna Guillory may be coming back to play Jill Valentine.

The Tweet in question, however, only reads "Valentine MAY b back..." So that's not promising us a reunion of the S.T.A.R.S. duo just yet. What took Sienna Guillory out of Resident Evil: Extinction in the first place was a bunch of contract disputes, but perhaps now all parties involved are starting to get along.

Will she be coming back with a mask and a control device on her chest? I'm doubtful, but there's a bit of an RE5 vibe from this Jill comeback.

You know Jill Valentine died first in the movies, Capcom took the idea and put it into RE5 and brought her back to life. So really if you think about it, the movies were first in killing Jill off, Capcom just used the idea for RE5.

I swear there was a book or something telling us she died in RE movies with that little girl. Rather gruesome death.

Strange how originally 3 was gonna have the name Afterlife or was it 2 and then they changed the names after awhile.

Damn it QJ, you had my hopes up. When I saw Resident Evil Afterlife, I though there was a new game coming out, but its just another one of them ***** RE action films that have absolutely nothing what-so-ever to do with horror or survival horror.

who cares. The movies was kickass. I'm tired of the RE action movie hate.

Perhaps theres "hate" for good reason. Sure they are cool action flicks... but they could have been called ANYTHING else and no one woudl have known that it was suppose to be Resident evil. Its a shame when they have a solid gold plot already laid out for them, but then some dev who isnt even a fan, has to do research about it, and puts his own creative spin on it, transforming it into something that had nothing to do with the source material...

You know Nemesis in the other movie?? You realize he only LOOKED like the game character, because the guy who did the creature design for most of the movie REFUSED to work with them, unless they allowed him to make Nemsis look like... welll nemisis. (they originally didnt have him looking like that). Im jusr glad atleast one person stood up for it.
