Eidos-Montreal is currently working on a new title in the Deus Ex series. That's no secret, but are they also developing a new Thief game? That's what some people are thinking, based purely on this little image on the studio's website:
Some have pointed out that the font used in the image bears a striking resemblance to that used in the Thief games. If it is a new Thief game, here's hoping that it gets a release on the PS3 and Xbox 360 along with the PC, just like Deus Ex 3 (PS3, 360, PC). Oh wait, Square Enix now owns - or rather, WILL own - Eidos right? Now, imagine an emo Garrett who can't even walk silently due to all the extraneous stuff hanging off his outfit. Haha, I kid, I kid. Square Enix has already said they won't be meddling with Eidos' operations. But seriously, that would suck if it came to pass. Related articles: |
