Real-life Pripyat - Image 1Sergei Grigorovich, President of GSC Game World, brings us great news today as he talked a bit about the sequel to the hit-title S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.

In an interview with a Russian website, Grigorovich confirmed that they are, indeed, developing the sequel. This is in addition to the new expansion, Call of Pripyat, which is scheduled for release later this year.

The confirmation came when asked if the "Call of Pripyat" sign spotted under the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. April 2009 Calendar, with the official logo underneath, was but an April Fool's joke. He did not give any more specifics about it, though, but we're fairly certain that they'll be coming out with a more comprehensive details list soon. Especially now that the buzz is on.

We'll be on the lookout for those, so just keep it posted here.
