No elementary mystery for Holmes in Sherlock Holmes The Awakened - Image 1

Sherlock  Holmes fans, take heart: cdv Software Entertainment USA and IGN have joined forces to bring you the 3D mystery adventure game Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened. The game is now available for purchase and download via IGN's Direct2Drive digital distribution channel service.

The move, according to Mario Kroll, Director of Marketing and Public Relations for CDV Software Entertainment USA, is in line with CDV's efforts to make their games available to as many customers as possible. According to Mr. Kroll:

Our digital distribution strategy that we launched earlier this year is generating noticeable additional sales, and Direct2Drive has been instrumental in helping us reach a broader audience with well-received and positively reviewed PC titles like Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened.

CDV Software Entertainment USA's Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened is a point-and-click mystery adventure that combines the science of deduction of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous Baker Street detective with the dark, eerie mysticism of H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos. Players take on the role of Sherlock Holmes and his trusty sidekick, Watson, as they attempt to uncover the secrets of a dark cult dedicated to the elder god Cthulhu.
