Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened - Image 1cdv Software Entertainment USA and Focus Home Interactive have announced that a new demo for their upcoming PC title Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened is now out and about and ready for your downloading pleasure.

The demo contains roughly an hour's worth of gameplay and weighs in at around 495MB. It'll give players a firsthand look at how Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened will go as they investigate crime scenes, interview witnesses and search for and examine various clues.

The full game will, of course, offer deeper and more complex mysteries that those found in the demo. If you're looking for this sort of puzzling and mind-chilling adventure, be sure to check out the game when it hits retail outlets in the U.S. on September 4.
