Ubisoft's Silent Hunter: Wolves of the Pacific PC - Image 1Ubisoft has announced that the U-boat Missions add-on for their submarine sim, Silent Hunter: Wolves of the Pacific, is now available for download. This add-on, which can be downloaded from Ubi.com and direct2drive.com, is available for US$ 9.95.

This new update adds a new campaign from July 1943 to the end of the second World War and allows players to take command of a German submarine. Expect to visit a variety of locations including Penang, Singapore, Jakarta, and Surabaya.

Players who download this pack will be able to take command of new submarines including the long range IX-D2 U-boat and the Walter-propelled Type XVIII U-boat. In addition, the game will also add a couple of new crew members who will bring a number of special abilities to your ship.

Finally, gamers can expect to get access to new strategic resources as they rise in rank and equipment. Fine examples of this are the new recon aircraft which can track down enemy shipping as well as the ability to call in battle groups to help defeat a numerically superior force.
