Spore screenshot - Image 1Video sharing tools in games these days are starting to become common, and Will Wright's Maxis won't hold back. Reportedly, the wildly anticipated and visually appealing Spore's PC version (also available on Nintendo Wii, DS, Mac, and Mobile) will come equipped not only with a feature that allows video recording.

But you can also conveniently upload videos on your YouTube account in a touch of a button. According to Ripten, among the details publisher Electronic Arts was willing to reveal is the mention of connectivity with the popular video sharing website.

With Spore's promise of countless creatures to create and numerous ways for them to evolve, having the option to showcase creations online sure sounds godsent.

Spore is scheduled for release on September 7. The wait has been a while, but considering how it seems Will Wright and his crew are packing the game with all the features, we're not complaining.

But it worried me. I just hope that there is a section for Spore and that it won't be just dropping these videos into the general area. I mean, there is a lot to do with Spore, but I bet the majority of listings will be, "look, I made a creature!"
