Spore won't debut until Fall/Winter of this year, says analyst - Image 1Janco Partners analyst Mike Hickey believes that Electronic Arts will be likely to move the original release time of Spore (PC, Mac, Wii, DS, Mobile) to a much later date, around Fall or Winter this year. He believes this is going to happen due to the company's potential high profile product delays.

In the recently concluded MacWorld Expo, the company did not commit to any official release date for the game. They just stated that they will be releasing Spore later in 2008. Until now, there hasn't been an announcement made on when the game will be finally released.

Even though there are delays with the game's launch, Hickey still believe in the EA's shares that offer a diversified play on video game software growth. In addition to this, Hikey noted that:

We expect the Company's legacy franchises to continue to perform well on current generation systems and remain optimistic over eventual new IP introductions, including Spore and Warhammer Online.
