I've always had a fascination over anything steampunk. And if there's any bit of Damnation I can scrounge up, I'd be glad to share it with you guys, of course. Take this trailer for example. It's got lots of gameplay footage, but more importantly, we hear from Blue Omega art director Adam Diller talking about what went on behind the scenes of this game.
Pulling of some steampunk designs and artwork isn't as easy as it seems, y'know. Think you just go and put together tin cans and greasy engines? Hell no. These guys did some heavy lifting and coal burning to get the art of Damnation right. Hundreds of pictures from a train yard? Man, that's just the start of it. Codemasters and Blue Omega Entertainment's Damnation for the PS3, is scheduled the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on May 22. Related articles: |
