Not so fast. Konami may have withdrawn their publisher's support for Six Days in Fallujah on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, but that doesn't mean the game's completely canned just yet. Atomic Games is still committed to finish developing their game: it's all just a matter of finding a new publisher. Peter Tamte, president of the game studio, explained: [Atomic Games] were informed on Thursday night that Konami had decided to pull out of Six Days in Fallujah. This caught us by surprise. Development of the game had been progressing very well and on schedule. We would very much like the opportunity to complete the game. It'd be interesting to see who they'd approach to have their game published. Will Take-Two Interactive pick it up? Related articles:

Are depressing when they can hamper creativity just because people are afraid of how a niche of the public views them. Konami didn't want to go through with the title because its too controversial (apparently?) so it'll be up to another company who knows how to deal with the public. Maybe its too soon, they could wait it out til nobody cares about the Iraq War veterans anymore, just like the deal with WWII veterans and the WWII games, and have a hit.
Though I'd never play it, the game never piqued my interest personally but the reasons behind Konami pulling out are pretty lame.

» Konami is Japanese...
And this game is about the war in Iraq so how about an American game publisher picking it up? Just throwing that out there..
