Official word from THQ is that Supreme Commander, developed by critically acclaimed RTS designer Chris Taylor and Gas Powered Games for PC, has finally reached gold status. With the game now ready to enter manufacturing, its February 20 release date is now a certainty.

Supreme Commander is set in the 37th century and  brings an all new level of scope and scale to the RTS genre. Armed with a unique storyline, innovative gameplay, and infinite online multiplayer battles, Supreme Commander promises to establish a new benchmark in strategic and tactical RTS gaming.
