The Sims IKEA - Image 1Yes, you read the title correctly. It's actually just a matter of time before the Lilliputian denizens got their own stylish, yet inexpensive furniture. Forget those ratty-old sofas, furnish your Sim's home with posh fixtures from internationally-renowned home products retailer IKEA in the new expansion pack, The Sims 2 IKEA Home Stuff.

Furniture that can be obtained from The Sims 2 IKEA Home Stuff include Ektorp sofas, Leksvik coffee tables, and even bedroom fixtures such as Malm beds with matching set of drawers. Think your Sim needs to work in a comfortable office? Why not deck out its personal work place with the posh Vika Hyttan desk, Helmer drawers, and other good stuff?

Electronic Arts certainly loves to make life better for the Sims. If only we could get the same treatment as well. The Sims 2 IKEA Home Stuff will be available on June 24 as a direct download release for only US$ 19.95. As with other expansion packs, this one requires a full version of The Sims 2 to work.
