Hair... hare... air... HEIR! The folks at Ubisoft appear to have come up with the final name for their upcoming Prince of Persia game, and it appears the claw-carrying prince is an heir apparent. The latest Game Informer teaser over on their website gives what appears to be the official name of the new PoP game, which they call Prince of Persia: Heir Apparent (PS3, Xbox 360, PC, DS). Given this subtitle for the new PoP game, could it be a hint at what the storyline would tackle, following the Sands of Time trilogy? The game's still in its early stages, so you can probably afford to make some bald jokes here and now before they get stale. In the meantime, feel free to check out our previous article on Prince of Persia: Heir Apparent's game details to get a better of idea of what's in store for this funky fresh prince. *Update* The supposed "Heir Apparent" subtitle has been debunked by Ubisoft. heir is pronounced like 'air,' not 'hair.' I dont know why you're trying to make those terrible... jokes(?).

The blogger jumped the gun here. That's the title of the article, not the game itself, GI doesn't actually call it anything other than PoP in the article. This same thing happened with God of War 2, they put the words "Divine Retribution" in the logo font on their article and everybody assumed that was the official name.
