SouthPeak has announced that their stealth-action video game, Velvet Assassin, has gone gold. And just in good time too, cos the game is set to ship out by the end of the month.

Velvet Assassin will be available for both the Xbox 360 and the PC, and will focus on the story of the real-life World War II exploits of Violette Szabo, a British agent. Release date is pegged at April 30, although some retailers have marked the 28th as the day it hits North American shores.

Here are some new screenshots as a bonus:

 » Sigh

Why WWII. Thats all I had to read to not want this game ever. They could just as easily have made a "Velvet Assassin" set in present time or something...

I hope this game bombs so the video game world can move forward in time.

» Any game with killing Nazis is good

uncharted, wolfenstein,CoD,turning point the only thing that i dont like is the female character, a guy character always beats a female one. Drake beats Lara, Leon Kennedy beats jill valentine and claire. Thats all the top one i know i mean if anybody else can think of someone that is actually good let me know.
