Some Nazi hunting will be in order this August, as Activision has finally announced a release date for Raven Software's Wolfenstein revamp. The game is now set for release on August 4 for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Gamers in Europe will get it on August 7.

Gamers will also be able to get in on the action early, in a way. The downloadable console version of Wolfenstein 3D will become available on the XBox Live marketplace and PlayStation Store next week. You can purchase it for 400 MS Points / US$ 4.
