What new weapons and achievements will be bestowed on this well-loved character? Some shareholders were apparently not too pleased when Activision and Vivendi made known their plans to form a merger, and filed an injunction suit in an attempt to stop the development in its tracks. In an impressive turnout, the Spore (PC, Nintendo Wii, DS, Mac, and Mobile) Creature Creator for the PC platform has churned out about 250,000 creatures in a single day - that's how much the users loved Electronic Arts' most-anticipated game. This is despite the fact that Electronic Arts had to wield the banhammer on those who got a little bit too enthusiastic about being able to create a creature out of their own imagination. Capcom's Keiji Inafune may have had made a passing mention of Resident Evil 5 (PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360) for the PC in an interview, but as it turns out, no such thing will see the light of day (at least, that's how Capcom put it). It's still far from the end of the road for Jack Thompson: apparently, the Florida lawyer walked out of his recent disciplinary hearing after filing his own formal objections to the sanctions hearing.
