A day after Bethesda launched their various Game of the Year and Deluxe packages of Oblivion and The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind as digital copies via Steam, then came the announcement that Bethesda Softworks and 2K Games are teaming up together to provide bundles for BioShock AND The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

If you've been following the Prison Break star, Wentworth Miller, then you might already know by now that the guy just dropped a hint about his new project. In one word: BioShock. You have to hand it to the guy, he sure knows how to tease.

Joystiq is reporting that there will be a BioShock novel, thanks to the collaboration of Take-Two Interactive and sci-fi/ fantaasy publisher Tor. According to their scoop, the novel will consist of 400 pages, and will come out in both hard and softcovers.

Looks like the BioShock movie is turning out to be a totally high-budget one - or over-the-budget, as it turns out. Universal Pictures has stepped on the brakes on the production of the said movie adaptation of Take-Two Interactive's best-selling game, as the company tries to reach an agreement with director Gore Verbinski for a more reasonable budget.

Feral Interactive's booth at the CES, on Friday, sported a curious choice of casual wear for its exhibitors: Big Daddy at the back of their shirts. Now, it's one thing to have one of the staff wearing a specific game shirt; he could be a fan who unfortunately didn't pick up his clothes from the laundry and so had to go with what was the only thing left in his closet. But to have the whole lot of them wearing the same shirt? Or maybe... BioShock (Xbox 360, PS3) is coming to the Mac.

Someone who got an early copy of the PS3 version of BioShock was already able to complete it. Turns out that once you're done, you get to unlock a video in the Extras menu showing a teaser for the sequel! BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams, baby! We know that Microsoft's exclusivity deal with 2K Games for BioShock prevented any news of a PlayStation 3 release, but it seems now the PS3 release is preventing any news to come out for BioShock 2. Details in the full article.

Speaking at the GDC in Paris, BioShock (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) lead programmer Chris Kline said that the game should gave failed from the get-go.
