Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling has tweeted via his fourzerotwo Twitter account that a new patch for the online exploits in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is currently in the works. So to those taking advantage of these exploits, for certain player advantages over others, those days of exploitation are numbered.

After packing up from the Microsoft offices, Bungie may have a thing or two to learn from Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 4 (PC, Xbox 360, PS3). The NPD Group reports that Call of Duty 4 (PC, PS3, Xbox 360) has sold a total of nine millions copies since its launch.
