We all know that Valve's Half-Life 2: Episode 2 kicked some serious booty last year, and it's still among today's favorites because of its superior gameplay. The only downside in this scenario is that fans are asking for more, and they've started looking at E3 2008 as the possible birthplace of the next episode. Valve says "not yet", but they've got another thing for itchy trigger fingers. More after the jump. |

So, if you're "un"-dead... you're alive? The more important question is though, if you're being chased by zombies, does it really matter? Check out a whole bunch of new screenshots for Left 4 Dead after the "read more" link below. |

Even though game developer Valve corporation has made it clear that it's not going to port over their zombie-infested game Left 4 Dead, Doug Lombardi has said that they might do it because they're open to discussions. If the project pushes through, however, it will not be handled by Valve. Details are in the full article. |

Consolidation isn't just a buzz word in the gaming industry, it's also becoming common practice. Just a few days ago, Valve Corporation snagged another developer for its fold, and the recent addition wasn't very surprising: it was none other than Turtle Rock Studios, the people behind the development of Left 4 Dead (Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Xbox 360). More in store at the full story. |

With this videogame generation being inundated with First Person Shooters, it's pretty much a given that developers have to add an extra something to spice up the experience some. That's what Valve's done with Left 4 Dead(Xbox 360, PC), giving the game not only convincing characters, stellar voice acting, team-based gameplay and a very tense soundtrack, but also zombies.
Lots of zombies. And that's exactly what we see here in this video gameplay update of the squad-based shooter. Left 4 Dead takes what you thought you knew about the walking undead and literally throws it out the window - much like a certain zombie shooter from Capcom did. Featuring not only fast-moving zombies that not only attacked in swarms, the title also features different types of the undead - one in particular that barfs out blood. The gameplay here is quite intense, fast-paced and very edge-on-your-seat stuff, what with the characters spouting lines that really humanize their struggle. And of course, the zombies themselves, attacking everything and everyone in sight. Embeds are below, you know what to do. Enjoy the videos! |
