Atari has announced an expansion pack for Neverwinter Nights 2, entitled Storm of Zehir. As it happens, Storm of Zehir will hearken back to some of the most memorable moments in PC RPG gaming, with a decidedly Baldur's Gate-like take on the Neverwinter Nights convention. Last week's game releases introduced a lot of fun games, such as Dr. Mario DX and Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness. This week, however, is the week for game ports, with Mac getting its own conversion of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PC, PS3, Xbox 360), the Nintendo DS getting the arcade classic Super Dodgeball Brawlers, and many others.

Ossian Studios is currently working on an adventure pack called the Mysteries of Westgate for Obsidian Entertainment's Neverwinter Nights 2. The most recent video called "Trolls aplenty" shows dungeon crawling at its best. It has narrow wet corridors and a lot of trolls to kill. What more could a Dungeons & Dragons junkie ask for?

Want more Neverwinter Nights 2 action? Well you've got it. Ossian Studios has released a new video for its Neverwinter Nights 2 adventure pack, entitled Mysteries of Westgate.

The video focuses on ship battle, and as you'll see in the video, there's an epic battle happening between your party and some hostile forces on a ship. Feel free to click on "read more" to access the video itself.

There are two new developments in the world of Neverwinter Nights 2 today. The first is the release of a hotfix for patch 1.11, which should fix some issues currently seen in-game as a result of patch 1.11. The second has to do with Neverwinter Nights 2 being regarded as a virus by Grisoft's AVG Antivirus program, which is apparently a false positive report.
