We've got a bunch of mystery games for you this Halloween week, as well as another one from the blood-curdling line of Ubisoft's Imagine titles, this time with Imagine Babyz Fashion. Headlining the line-up though would be Jak & Dexter for the PSP, the multi-platformer Lego Rock Band, and the new Need for Speed offering for handhelds, NFS: Nitro. Oh, and Band Hero featuring Taylor Swift is also here. Hopefully there'll be no Kanye to interrupt your game this time. Check out the full list in the full article.

We have a rather sizeable haul of new games this week. The cream of the crop includes such titles as Tekken 6, DJ Hero, Forza Motorsport 3, Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time, and that undying (not undead -- no, that would actually be cool) Petz series. Dig in and see which games fit your tastes and budget.

We've got an even spread of game releases for this week's batch of On Shelves games, including a couple of downloadable ones. Big for handhelds this week would be Capcom's and Namco Bandai's brawler offerings on the PSP, Fate/Unlimited Codes (available via PSN) and Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny, respectively. With summer about to end, it's nice to know that we're getting more company for the Fall as big game titles start to emerge. Topping the list this week are two big titles, each for consoles and for the PSP handheld. Batman: Arkham Asylum is set to grace North American PS3s and Xbox 360s, while Dissidia: Final Fantasy is weaving its magic on the PSP -- both on the same day, Tuesday. Amidst the usual barrage of less-than-note-worthy DS titles, this week's big release is the sequel to the 2001 FPS Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Hitler's got the usual evil army, and it's gonna be up to you to infiltrate and beat them from the inside. Finally, a game that everyone is definitely waiting for: Madden NFL 10. We' have some lackluster stand alone games the few weeks past, but not anymore. Starting this week, you're finally gonna get all the field action you've been longing for. Not only that, this whole week of August 9th to 15th seems to well-represented, with various games sprinkled all throughout the different days. Check out the list after the jump.

The games sure are kicking up. This week, we've got another video game adaptation of a popular action hero franchise that's launching along the movie. Can  you guess which one it is?  We've also got several more big titles coming our way this week, from aliens to athletes, heroes and warriors, rockstars and (Karl's favorite) popstar. Tired of the flimsy four-game batches we've been having lately? We've got double the number this week, with big titles you definitely don't want to miss out on, even if you're not much of a day one buyer. For starters, there the PC version for Bionic Commando (PC, Xbox 360, PS3) and the naval strategy game, East India Company. Cherry on the icing goes to King of Fighters XII (PS3, Xbox 360),and the much-anticipated Wii Sports Resort, hand-in-hand with the Wii MotionPlus.

Don't look now, but it's another four-game batch for this week, with the exclusion of the digital-only releases. This week's biggest titles come from the Watchmen, as they get released into different titles for the PS3 and Xbox 360 respectively. But hey, if you're into guinea pigs and cartoony RTS, you'd probably like the other two in the bunch. Read up on this edition of On Shelves This Week for more info.

With this week's big guns coming as digital downloads, the games that will actually be on shelves this week won't be beckoning for your cash too hard. This week's MVP goes to NCAA Football 10, which has received some good reviews despite EA's lackluster performance in the last few years. You may not be personally interested in the rest of the list, but someone you know might love to get one as a gift. Who knows?
