Atari, CD Projekt releases patch 1.3, Price of Neutrality, and D'jinni editor for free - Image 1Now Atari may not be doing so well financially, but if there's one thing we're thankful for, it's the fact that the brand picked up CD Projekt's The Witcher and permitted the rest of the world to trod through a darker face of role-play. And those who've actually had the patience to enjoy CD Projekt's offering past the first chapter would delight in the fact that the developers, along with Atari, decided to bring two goodies along with patch 1.3: an editor and a new adventure - all for free!

The Witcher- Image 1

If you're the type who prefers the digital method over the manual get-up-and-go approach, you'll be glad to know that The Witcher, the new RPG from CD Projekt, has joined the ranks of downloadable games over at the GamersGate website.

The downloadable game is only available in the US. If for some reason you prefer to put on your shoes and go buy the game yourself (heaven knows why you'd prefer that method) then you should know that The Witcher is already available today.

One reason to get up to go buy it with your physical self (oh heaven has provided a reason after all) may be The Witcher Limited Edition, which contains some goodies: a 204-page art book, the soundtrack CD, and the "making of the game" DVD.

To download The Witcher, follow the Read link below.

CD Projeckt and Atari's The Witcher - Image 1CD Projekt has just announced that they've released patch 1.1 for The Witcher. This update fixes some of the bugs and gameplay problems that players have been complaining about in the official forums.

The patch makes the game more stable and solves the random system crashes some users have been experiencing while playing the game. In addition to this, the WSAD-mousedrive control issues and all Alt-Tab problems have been fixed as well.

North American based gamers who plan on picking up The Witcher when it comes out in their area on October 30 should probably download this patch since it fixes some of the more glaring problems of the game.

The full patch notes can be found in the full article.
