ATI's updated list of DirectX 11-capable games has confirmed that the PC version of DICE's upcoming Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will be rocking support for the API. GSC Game World'sS.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat is also counted among the list along with Lord of the Rings Online. Hit the jump for the full list of games.

Electronic Arts has hailed two-time FIFA World Player of the Year, Ronaldinho, as the frontliner for their global lineup of of superstar athletes to be feature on the front packs of FIFA 08.

Apart from Ronaldinho, the FIFA 08 boxarts will be graced by Werder Bremen's Miroslav Klose for the packaging in Germany, Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos for Spain, Andreas Ivanschitz for Austria, and Tranquillo Barnetta for Switzerland. As for the France covers, Ronaldinho will be joined in by Florent Malouda and Frank Ribery. There is still no word as to who will be the players tapped to join Ronaldinho for the U.K. covers, but EA reassures that they will be releasing the list next month.

But that's not all the announcement EA had to make. They also revealed that the aforementioned players are also taking part in a state-of-the-art body motion capture in Barcelona, Spain today in order for their game versions to be a little bit more life-like.

FIFA 08 is scheduled to kick off to multiple platforms (Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, Wii, Nintendo DS, PSP, PC and mobile) this coming Autumn.

Hamburg-based publisher dtp entertainment (Yes, it's all in small caps. Don't us ask why.) will be handling the distribution of Spanish video game publisher Virgin Play's current game portfolio in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This was announced by both companies earlier today.

The distribution deal covers the following games:

• Torrente 3: El Protector (PC, PS2)
• Final Armada (PSP, PS2)
• Dead'n'Furious (Nintendo DS).

"We are glad to co-operate with a new and strong partner who will add innovative games addressing mainstream gamers to the German market. We are continuing to expand our 3rd party distribution services in Germany, Austria and Switzerland," said Steffen Hippe, Sales Director, dtp entertainment.

Virgin's Managing Director Francisco Encinas echoed Hippe's statement. "This is an important step in Virgin´s international expansion," said Encinas. "We are extremely pleased to be working with dtp and are confident that our products will achieve nothing but success in their hands."
