Sirius Games and cdv Software Entertainment's Escape from Paradise City looks to be a very interesting game. Set in an urban landscape torn apart by criminal activity, the game sets you on a mission to infiltrate the criminal underworld and become the ultimate crime boss by taking out the competition. The game is said to have an "intertwining chapter-driven story." This pretty much means that the player takes turns controlling one of three characters who are each trying to solve the mystery behind the controlling crime syndicate’s power. The final boss of the game has been described as "more than your average thug - or average human." It's probably worth a playthrough just to find out what the press release meant by that. Escape from Paradise City is slated to ship in North America on September 24. We'll probably be hearing more from this game as we creep closer to this date, so keep checking back for more. While waiting for updates, why not check out some of the screenshots from the game? Click on the Full Article link to check them out. More screenshots behind the Full Article link! |

The game's afoot and who better to solve the mystery than the great fictional detective, Sherlock Holmes himself? Frogwares Studios' third Sherlock Holmes video game will also be distributed by CDV Software Entertainment along with Focus Home Interactive.Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened will center on the detective tackling a mystery surrounding supernatural events concerning the Old Gods. It has mixed the elements of the Cthulhu mythos and the classic mystery solving of Arthur Conan Doyle's great detective. Reportedly, the game will be on a first person perspective (which will certainly bring the sense of being immersed in the game) but will still have the point and click elements of the previous adventure games. This PC game will be stalking to the shelves in North America come September. We'll be shelling out more information on this once the clues become available. So put on your deerstalker caps and stay tuned for Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened. |
