The upcoming Resident Evil: Afterlife sees the return of the cast from the last movie, welcoming Wentworth Miller to play Chris Redfield. Wouldn't be much of a Chris appearance if his ol' partner Jill isn't gonna be there for the ride, yes? A Tweet from none other than Milla Jovovich tells us that it's quite possible. Despite being a no-show in Extinction, Sienna Guillory may be coming back to play Jill Valentine.

Chris Redfield and his beloved guns will be gracing PC monitors in North America and Europe this September. If you've got the equipment, you can even see him and Sheva shoot some zombies up in glorious 3D. Details after the jump.

Though not an entirely new concept, applying smell-technology to video games is damned cool - at least of course, until they start applying the same smelly tech to Resident Evil or some such. But anyway, yes, smell-tech is slowly wafting its way to video games, and a team from the University of Birmingham is doing just that!
