Doug Lombardi is still doing his rounds promoting Left 4 Dead 2 (Xbox 360, PC). The latest from Valve's marketing VP is that the much-talked about sequel will have more new special infected joining the ranks of the Hunter, Tank, and others.

Still not sold on Left 4 Dead 2 (Xbox 360, PC) even with the new weapons, characters, maps and the Charger Infected on board? This might make you change your mind, or  at least be amenable to changing your mind, so hopes Valve. Doug Lombardi has announced that if you pre-order the sequel, you will be getting early access to the Multiplayer demo.

Finally. Some real gameplay footage of the highly controversial Left 4 Dead 2 (Xbox 360, PC). It runs for seven minutes in total, enough for you to prove a case if you've ever tried British Parliamentary form of debating. But before we see if these footage would prove sufficient to sway the otherwise strong sentiments of hardcore L4D1(Xbox 360 and PC) fans against it, let's hear from Doug Lombardi, who's been making his rounds the past couple of days, explaining a whole lot about this sequel. This time, he talks about crossover possibilities between the two games.

 Did any of you guys sign the Left 4 Dead 2 (Xbox 360, PC) petition? You know, the one where the fans were asking to boycott the sequel of the zombie-killing game from Valve because they didn't want a sequel too soon to the first one? Well, it looks like despite the 37,000 strong members, it did not do that much dent to the campaign for Left 4 Dead 2 as pre-orders are even reportedly twice that of the original game's. At least that's what a Valve's Doug Lombardi is saying.

Valve is staying true to their promise of continued support for Left 4 Dead with a DLC announcement slated for the end of summer. They also have something cooking for those looking forward to Left 4 Dead 2. More after the jump.

We all know how Valve doesn't dig Sony's PlayStation 3. We've all heard Gabe Newell bash the console public on more than one occasion, after all. But what's this going on? Valve Corporation is having a change of heart? No less than Doug Lombardi confirms as much.

We all know that Valve's Half-Life 2: Episode 2 kicked some serious booty last year, and it's still among today's favorites because of its superior gameplay. The only downside in this scenario is that fans are asking for more, and they've started looking at E3 2008 as the possible birthplace of the next episode.
